Variations on a Dream
Sometimes in order for a more complete story to be told, one must return time and again to to a place to observe it at different hours and in different conditions. At Heron Lake, in northern New Mexico, the water levels ebb and flow with seasonal changes, with drought and abundance, and with the needs of the various cities and pueblos that utilize this water, a precious resource in the desert southwest. These photographs reflect my love of Heron, of water, and pay homage to the increasing importance of clean water in our state and on our planet. These images are created 'in-camera,' and printed on dye-infused aluminum.
